Autumn Outfit Inspiration

11:15

The leaves are falling, the lipsticks are getting darker and the line to get a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks is longer than ever, it’s safe to say that Autumn is here. So to celebrate this oh-so-glorious season full of chunky boots, thick tights and insanely woolly jumpers, I thought I’d share some Autumn outfit inspiration and show off one of my favourite fall looks.

Revelling in its second coming into the fashion world, suede has been one of the biggest comeback trends of the past few years so it’s no surprise that the dreamy fabric features twice in my favourite fall outfit. Everyone has their favourite autumn staples; from woolly scarves to leather jackets, floral prints to jumper dresses, for me when the leaves start to fall I always find myself reaching for my suede Tally Weijl trench coat and embroidered H&M skirt. They not only complement the season’s earthy tones with their retro hues and delicate textures, they‘re also statement pieces that are easy to style (i.e. perfect for when you’ve woken up 30 minutes late and need to quickly put together an outfit that screams ‘I’ve got my shit together’).

Paired with a simple black polo neck (from Depop), over the knee socks and a wide brim hat (both from Primark), it's a simple yet chic outfit that prepares me for the somewhat temperamental autumn weather. No matter how strong the wind is, this outfit stays together (most of the time).

Hope you liked my short but sweet post about my favourite Autumn outfit.
